PEOPLE Eastern Propane Corp William Curcio executive vice president at Eastern Propane retired from his position Curcio held management positions at Eastern Propane for 38 years He first joined the company as a vice president in the late 1970s and he was later promoted to executive vice president Curcio served Curcio the New Jersey Propane Gas Association and the New Jersey Liquefied Petroleum Gas Education Safety Board throughout his career He represented the company at Pennsylvania Propane Gas Association and New York Propane Gas Association meetings as well Proulx Oil Propane Kevin Wood joined the New Hampshire company as a sales and account manager Wood will focus on the sale of liquid products oil and propane to customers throughout New Hampshire northern Massachusetts and southern Maine Wood will also participate in builder and realtor associations as well as trade shows and chamber of commerce memberships Proulx Oil Propane says Wood joined the propane industry in 2004 and has held various roles Ray Murray Inc Larry McBee is the wholesale distributors new independent sales agent for the Midwest and Eastern Plains According to the company McBee has had a long career in the hearth and grill industry in a number of roles including ownership of Adventure Marketing Group In his new position McBee will be responsible for growing Ray Murrays hearth and outdoor living products and propane equipment business in Arkansas Iowa Kansas Missouri Nebraska and Oklahoma Rutherford Equipment Mike Rutherford was named president of the company Randy Rutherford current president at Rutherford Equipment will step down from his position and plans to continue to serve as the companys chairman according to the company Mike Rutherford most recently worked as Rutherford Equipments vice president of sales and marketing In that position he was responsible for the sales growth of all products including propane equipment Mike Rutherford He first joined Rutherford Equipment in 1998 upon graduation from the University of Georgia Since joining the company he has helped to launch and grow the gas grill sector of the business the company says In addition Ray Coile operations manager at Rutherford Equipment retired May 1 Coile joined Rutherford Equipment in 2002 after working as a district manager at General Gas Amoco and Northern Propane He has served in the propane industry for about 57 years Ray has been a tremendous asset to the Coile company Randy Rutherford says His wealth of knowledge experience and relationships have been invaluable Canadian Propane Association CPA Nathalie St Pierre was appointed president and CEO St Pierre joins the association after serving as vice president of sustainability and executive director for Québec for the Retail Council of Canada since 2011 She brings more than 20 years of experience and a proven track record of strong leadership and organizational development CPA says St Pierre a lawyer is also a member of the School of Community and Public Affairs from Concordia University She replaces Andrea Labelle who has helped the association grow over the last four years CPA says Labelle will assist during the transition St Pierre 22 LPGas May 2017 www LPGasmagazine com
