Flow Cal Inc Michael DeMasie was appointed COO of the software developer specializing in measurement data management for natural gas and petroleum liquids He has more than 25 years of technology and industry experience and joins Pipeline assets between the Conway hub and Enterprises Hobbs NGL fractionation facility in Gaines County Texas Enterprise will construct and serve as the operator of the pipeline while Enbridge will build and operate the new gathering systems The pipeline and gathering systems are expected to begin service in the second quarter of 2013 subject to regulatory approvals The Texas Express Pipeline will also supply petrochemical facilities with a reliable and domestic source of feedstock Demand for natural gas derived feedstocks remains strong and it has been driven by the wide spread between crude oil and natural gas prices Targa Resources plans 250 million expansion of marine terminal Targa Resources Partners LP approved a 250 million expansion of its Mont Belvieu complex and its existing import export marine terminal at Galena Park Texas to provide export capability for 5000 barrels per hour of fully refrigerated low ethane propane The expansion complements existing LPG import export capacity and is in addition to projects that are under way to improve the export refrigeration and loading rates for HD 5 propane and butane The project is expected to be operational in the third quarter of 2013 Whiting Oil and Gas Corp constructs gas processing plant in North Dakota Whiting Oil and Gas Corp is building a 90 million gas processing plant near Belfield N D capable of processing 30 million cubic feet of gas per day The plant will enable Whiting to process gas from local oil deposits and transport natural gas via pipeline across the country in the form of propane butane and gasoline According to The Dickinson Press in North Dakota Denver based Whiting had 2200 wells and 580000 acres in 13 states in 2010 and it currently has about 500 oil rigs in North Dakota Westcon Inc is handling construction of the plant which should be fully operational in November PEOPLE Continued on page 16 DeMasie www LPGasmagazine com October 2011 LPGas 15
